OVERVIEW A proactive and results-oriented Business Support Manager will provide comprehensive support to a specific business unit or department within our organization. The Business Support Partner will serve as a bridge between the Office of the President and CEO (OPCEO) and the designated business unit partner/s, ensuring that objectives and key results (OKRs) set by the OPCEO are effectively communicated, implemented, and achieved. The role involves providing support to various groups within the business unit, monitoring milestones and timelines, and driving process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. STRATEGIC ALIGNMENTUnderstand and communicate the strategic direction, objectives, and key results set by the OPCEO to the designated business unit or department. Ensure alignment of tasks, projects, and initiatives with overall organizational goals. 2. TASK AND PROJECT MANAGEMENTCoordinate and prioritize tasks, projects, and initiatives assigned by the OPCEO to the business unit. Monitor progress, milestones, and timelines to ensure timely and successful completion. 3. SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCEProvide support and assistance to different groups within the business unit as they work towards achieving OPCEO-directed objectives. Intrude when necessary to offer guidance, resources, or solutions to overcome challenges and obstacles. 4. PERFORMANCE MONITORINGContinuously monitor and evaluate performance against established OKRs, identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for optimization. Take proactive measures to address issues and deviations from targets. 5. PROCESS IMPROVEMENTIdentify inefficiencies in existing processes and systems, and proactively propose and implement innovative solutions to improve workflow, productivity, and accuracy. Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the business unit. 6. COLLABORATION AND COMMUNICATIONFoster effective collaboration and communication between the business unit and the OPCEO's office, ensuring that expectations, updates, and feedback are communicated clearly and promptly. 7. DOCUMENTATION AND REPORTING Maintain accurate documentation of tasks, projects, milestones, and outcomes. Prepare regular reports, decks and updates for the OPCEO and other stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field is requiredProven experience in business support, project management, or a related role, preferably in a corporate environment.Strong understanding of strategic planning, goal setting, and performance management concepts.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to innovate, streamline processes, and drive operational efficiency.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software applications.
