- This role will be responsible to protect Lazada Philippines' activities and its ecosystem users against any risk-related- such as but are not limited to assortment compliance to the platform and country's regulation including prohibited and
- controlled goods, and intellectual property rights, and brand protection.
- Reporting
- This role will be reporting to the Head of Business and Enterprise Risk.
- Key tasks and responsibilities- Optimize users and assortment data to perform high level analysis to ensure they maintain highest compliance to
platform and country's law and regulations.- Optimize assortment governance rule & algorithms through data driven analysis as well as develop cutting edge
tactical/strategic solutions to enhance better assortment governance and non-compliance detection.- Develop and communicate insights and recommended actions to stakeholders to manage risk by contributing towards
machine learning models, rules and other detection systems.- Be source of truth for risk metrics in the organization and own their logic as well as monitoring.
- Envision and create alert mechanisms and automated outputs which keeps stakeholders aware of movement and
deviations of key metrics.- Manage the reporting of key performance indicators; present analyses and findings to management to steer Security
Risk Enterprise Intelligence, SREI's strategic vision and mission.- Work cross functionally on managing risk associated with Lazada products, processes methods.
matter expertise.- Partner with Regional, Product and Business teams to conceive, design & monitor assortment risk strategies, create
process and SOP in order to mitigate assortment risk in the most precise manner possible.- Handling escalations and conducting investigations for incidents.
- Anticipating and escalating issues quickly and efficiently, as necessary to allow proper corrective action/decision.
- Working closely with other functions such as Customer Care (Customer Support, Partner Support, Business Process
Outsourcing), e-Commerce Platform (Platform Governance, Seller Operations, etc.
), Commercial (brands), Logistics,
- Security teams, and others to identify and assess risks.- Conducting product training and communicating changes to stakeholders.
**Job Requirements**
- Qualifications & Skills- At least 3-4 years + of experience with hands-on compliance management
- Experience in data analyst/internal auditing role in an e-commerce or tech company is a plus.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations related to prohibited and controlled goods will be highly desirable.
- Experience in working with government, compliance, or regulatory agencies is a plus.
- Strong experience in handling large scale unstructured data.
Advanced Excel and/or data analysis tool is required
- Experience in SQL or other data handling tools, as well as ability to learn more advanced data is more preferred but
not a must.- Excellent English and Filipino written and verbal communication skills is a must.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in collaborating with different business functions and key
stakeholders.- Strong communication skills, with experience in involving technical and regional/local venture counterparts,
coordinating multiple stakeholders, and reporting to large audiences or senior management.- Experience in the e-commerce industry a plus.
