The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a strategic role responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving growth, and ensuring the company's sustained profitability. The BDM will leverage market research and analysis to develop comprehensive business plans, formulate and execute business development strategies, and achieve sales targets. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong track record in sales, marketing, and business development, who can build and maintain client relationships, offer company services, and lead the company's efforts to expand its market presence.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIE

Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, market demands, and competitive landscape.
Analyze industry developments, customer needs, and market conditions to guide the company's business strategy.
Monitor competitor activities and market shifts to identify potential areas for business growth.
Utilize data-driven insights to identify new market segments and opportunities for service expansion.
Develop and implement detailed business plans that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Set realistic and achievable goals for business development, focusing on both short-term and long-term growth.
Prepare financial models, sales forecasts, and risk assessments to support business plans.
Collaborate with senior management to refine and adjust business strategies based on market conditions and performance metrics.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with potential clients.
Lead negotiations and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and projects.
Foster relationships with industry partners, stakeholders, and key decision-makers.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote services and establish connections.
Set and achieve sales targets, ensuring the company meets its revenue goals.
Implement sales strategies that align with market conditions and customer demands.
Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and resolve any issues that may hinder target achievement.
Engage with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and explore opportunities for additional services.
Provide tailored solutions to clients based on their specific needs and challenges.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.
Manage client contracts, renewals, and negotiations to secure ongoing business.
Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the company's services and attract new clients.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, digital content, and advertising strategies.
Oversee the creation and distribution of sales and marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and online content.
Conduct market analysis to determine the effectiveness of marketing strategies and adjust as needed.
Track client interactions, sales activities, and marketing campaign performance.
Lead and mentor the business development and sales teams, providing guidance and support to achieve targets.
Foster a collaborative environment across departments to ensure alignment with business goals.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and sales performance.
Present findings and recommendations to executive department, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
Continuously evaluate and refine business development strategies to improve outcomes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline is highly desirable and considered a strong asset.
A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, marketing, or a related role within a fast-paced and dynamic industry. Experience in driving business growth and achieving key performance indicators.
Demonstrated and verifiable track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets, contributing significantly to business expansion and revenue growth. Experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies that align with company objectives.
In-depth knowledge of market research techniques, including qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Proven ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and leverage insights to inform strategic business decisions and develop competitive strategies.
Extensive experience in creating comprehensive business plans, including market analysis, financial projections, and risk assessments. Ability to design and implement effective business strategies that drive sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
Exceptional skills in building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Experience in understanding client needs, delivering customized solutions, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Proven leadership experience in managing and motivating teams to achieve high performance. Ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Strong focus on results, with a commitment to continuous improvement and team development.
Advanced proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, including platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent. Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant tools for business analysis and reporting.
Strong capability to analyze complex market trends, financial data, and competitive landscapes. Ability to identify challenges, develop innovative solutions, and adjust strategies based on evolving market conditions and client needs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
Ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment by being adaptable and proactive. Demonstrated ability to pivot strategies in response to market shifts, client demands, and emerging opportunities, while maintaining a focus on long-term objectives.
