**Business Development & Franchising Specialist**The Business Development & Franchising Specialist will be responsible in supporting the department's goal of developing new business opportunities through a deliberate store expansion plan and an effective franchising program.This position will be assigned and trained as a key lead for sourcing potential sites and franchisees. Duties include developing proposals and presentations to prospective leads, creating productive and lasting relationships for future businessgrowth, negotiating mutually beneficial agreements, collaborating with key departments, and ensuring that franchisees adhere to the company's vision and goals.1. Business Plan Creation- Conducts market research of relevant industry trends- Prepares a detailed business model as guide for expansion- Gathers important data from respective departments to formulate a strategic plan2. Real Estate Acquisition- Prepares and updates site criteria based on the department's site development strategy- Conducts trade area mapping and identifies potential locations- Collects pertinent lease data regarding new and existing developments- Prepares and recommends initial site presentation for approval- Facilitates project opening timelines from site measurement to turnover for construction3. Lease Management- Evaluates current lease rates and negotiates rent concession in accordance to the store's financial performance- Maintains relationship with key landlords- Handles administrative tasks and lease-related requests4. Franchise Management- Conducts research related to the franchise industry including competitors and rates- Assists the department in organizing a franchise sales campaign through trade shows and events- Handles franchise inquiries and conducts initial screening and due diligence- Processes onboarding of new franchisees - from site selection to store opening- Coordinates with the operations department through regular franchise business reviews- Assists in the creation and updating of Franchise Agreement**Job Qualifications**:- Demonstrated ability in business development, sales, and lead generation- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills- Proficiency in word, presentation, and spreadsheet software- Strong analytical and negotiation skills- Willingness to travel and meet with prospective clients- Problem solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions**Job Requirements**:- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Marketing- At least 2 years experience in similar field**Benefits**:- Employee discountSchedule:- Day shiftAbility to commute/relocate:- Pasig City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
