Business Application And Technology Analyst

Serves as the conduit between the customer (internal and external customers) and the application development team through which requirements flow.

Probes current procedures and user requirements under the guidelines contained in a project definition paper or concept paper prepared by the IT Project Manager.

Performs comprehensive analysis including business process review, function design, and testing of assigned projects.

Develops functional specifications and/or system requirements specifications that are detailed and meet customer requirements.

Coordinates with the IT Project Manager for systems design of databases, entity relationships, user- interfaces, and data elements for peer review with the Development Team and Database Administrator.

Develops and performs system acceptance test plans, test scenarios and test cases to ensure that all known aspects of the system are tested thoroughly.

Performs functional and regression testing after completion of code unit testing by the developers.

Supervises on User Acceptance Testing in accordance to the test plan.

Conducts training to users or trainers in the use of the system.

Develops user manual or job aid to inform and update users on current practices related to the functional area.

Prepares other project documentation according to standard templates.

Participates in the implementation of cloud-based solutions and cooperates to ensure cloud computing best practices are followed and applied.
