The Business Analyst is responsible f nior helping to define business problems via in-depth investigation
and gathering of technical and non-technical information. Outlines the detailed requirements for a
solution and ensures the delivered solution meets those business requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business analysis
? Prepare documents such as but not limited to, Business Requirement Document (BRD), Software
Requirements Specifications (SRS), solution diagrams, use cases, process flows, functional
design, wireframes, user stories
? Collaborates with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision. ? Clearly
identifies project stakeholders and establishes customer classes, as well as their characteristics
? Understand how organizations function to accomplish their purpose and defines
capabilities an organization requires to provide a service or meet their goals ? Models
current and desired scenarios as directed.
? Investigate operational needs, problems, and opportunities, resulting to the recommendation
of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed
processes or systems
? Assesses system impacts and provides gap and process analysis as well as
product/service-related initiatives.
? Plan, direct, and complete the analysis of business problems to be solved or
products/services to be developed for delivery.
? Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition, and prioritization activities for IT-related
projects or change requests
? Gathers analyzes, and creates comprehensive work products documenting requirements,
including validation and traceability, for existing and new applications supporting various
business channels.
Reviews resulting process models with stakeholders and gains resolution to resultant issuesProvides input to the requirements baseline and investigates, manages and applies
authorized requests for changes to baselined requirements, in line with change
management policy
? Facilitates communication between organizational units to align the needs of business units to
create requirement work products for solution providers.
? Acts as liaison between the user community and internal IT resources. ? Follows agreed
standards, applying appropriate techniques to elicit and document detailed requirements.
Provides constructive challenges to stakeholders as required.Has in-depth knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques aligned with BABOK ? Select
appropriate modeling techniques for meeting assigned objectives. ? Conversant with techniques
covering a full range of modeling situations. ? Presents the requirements document to the Key
Stakeholders (Project Sponsor, Project Steercom, etc)
Project Management
? Ensures tasks, milestones, timelines, resources, and other details are clearly
communicated to the business owners
? Prepares and submits regular status reports to relevant stakeholders, indicating tasks
completed, risk assessment, issues encountered, and other items requiring management
action
? Manages projects according to approved project management standards to ensure agreed
scope, schedule, budget, and objectives are met
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology,
Computer Science, or a related field is important.
? Any Business Analysis certification issued by the International Institute of Business Analysis
(IIBA) Global is a plus
CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis) orCBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
? At least 2-3 years of experience in business analysis and business process management ?
Demonstrated experience in delivering Business Analysis (BA) artifacts aligned to IIBA's Business
Analysis Book of Knowledge (BABOK)
? Demonstrated ability in delivering business models using standards such as UML ? Experience
in using the following Business Analysis Techniques but not limited to Use Cases, User Stories,
Prototyping, Process Modelling, Process Analysis, Business Rules Analysis, Workshops, Interview,
Brainstorming, Focus Group, Data Modeling, Root Cause Analysis, Functional Decomposition
? Understands the agile methodologies and has participated in a SCRUM team effort for
delivering solutions to requirements
? Experienced in working on large-scale projects with demonstrated ability to
successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point
? Adept in building relationships and partnering with the business as well as strong
communication skills
Experienced in planning, design, and delivery of significant business technology projectsStrong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point,

Strong understanding of the manufacturing industryDemonstrated leadership skills to influence key stakeholders and enable IT strategy
