Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and maintain building systems, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
2. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure systems are functioning properly.
3. Perform routine and emergency repairs on building systems and equipment.
4. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with building systems and coordinate with contractors or service providers as needed.
5. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding building operations and safety.
6. Monitor and control energy consumption to promote efficiency and cost savings.
7. Implement and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
8. Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance with safety regulations.
9. Assist in planning and executing building renovation or improvement projects.
10.Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized services.
11.Address and resolve tenant or occupant concerns related to building systems and facilities.
12.Provide excellent customer service and support to building occupants.
13.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
14.Prepare and submit reports on building systems performance and maintenance status.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building engineering or facilities management.
3. Relevant certifications such as a Professional Engineer (PE) license, HVAC certification, or similar credentials are preferred.
4. Strong technical knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
5. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
