Qualifications & Skills:• Preferably, candidate should be a Registered Master Electrician (RME) or have completed an equivalent technical-vocational course, such as TESDA's NC II in Electrical Installation and Maintenance. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in building wiring or any electrical field.• Required to work both indoors and outdoors.• Connects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.• Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify safety hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repairs, ensuring compliance with codes.• Advises and communicates with the manager regarding the continued operations of job assignments and any potential hazardous areas or equipment. • Follows Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) protocols for all tasks.Responsibilities: • Assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools or power tools.• Uses building electrical distribution drawings, schematics, logic diagrams, and single-line drawings to diagnose electrical failures. Utilizes electrical drawings for new or expanding building projects and for the installation or relocation of new or used equipment.• Conducts routine testing on all electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices to ensure the compatibility and safety of systems.• Assists all departments within Comfoods building (Utilities, Instrumentation, HVAC/R, Engineering, Validation, and Automation) in determining the analytical sequence and actions to be taken during mechanical and electrical system troubleshooting and repair operations.• Maintains and repairs various types of electrical equipment for facilities, such as ultra-low temperature boxes, air handlers, electrical switch gear, motor controls, variable speed drives, autoclaves, and generator systems.Installs or repairs electrical outlets, lighting fixtures, conduits, wiring, motor controllers, and related equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code.
