Job Responsibilities:
As the Branch Manager Cebu, you will be responsible for the branch's financial results, closely supervising sales and operational activities. You will generate gross profit and revenue growth through new client development and by expanding existing client business, in line with the company's growth strategy and the country sales budget. This role also involves managing face-to-face sales meetings, building relationships, presenting logistics solutions, and closing sales.
Branch Operations Management:
Oversee branch operations, including forwarding and customs clearance, ensuring smooth workflows and meeting customer expectations. Manage and supervise sales and business development activities in the Visayas region. Negotiate and conduct regular reviews of rates with airlines, shipping lines, truckers, and brokers in collaboration with the country procurement team. Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all business activities align with local and regional compliance policies, fulfilling all legal requirements. Achieve a high success rate for new business awards while maintaining strong gross profit margins and meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Customer Engagement and Relationship Building:
Maintain continuous engagement with customers to strengthen relationships and drive ongoing account success. Engage with decision-makers to understand customers' business challenges and logistics objectives. Develop customized logistics solutions that add value and align with customers' business strategies. Tender Management:
Apply for and manage regional and global tenders, coordinating as the account owner with regional tender teams. Collaborate closely with Country and Product Management to establish pricing strategies for customer tenders. Sales and Performance Monitoring:
Utilize the CRM platform daily to document sales activities and relevant customer business details. Manage opportunities and risks, ensuring the interests of the company are protected. Team Support and Leadership:
Provide support, coaching, and motivation to the team, addressing personnel matters promptly. Handle customer complaints and escalate them to the Manager when necessary. Participate in all scheduled sales training provided by the company and serve as the lead negotiator during client presentations Job Qualifications: Experience:
Minimum of 7+ years of sales experience in freight forwarding, particularly in air and ocean logistics. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or equivalent logistics experience. Decision-Making and Problem-Solving: Capable of analyzing information, evaluating outcomes, and selecting effective courses of action or developing suitable solutions. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities to guide the team effectively. Results-Oriented: Demonstrates a clear understanding of expected outcomes, sets personal goals, and strives to achieve them. Client-Focused: Skilled at anticipating and identifying customer needs and expectations, ensuring positive customer satisfaction. Innovative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and entrepreneurially. Work Ethic and Integrity: Strong work ethic and integrity are essential.
