How You'll Contribute: Leadership and Management You will lead Chapter staff and volunteers in delivery of Philippine Red Cross (PRC) services and projects. Manage day to day activities of staff and volunteers. Coaching and mentoring staff and volunteers to improve performance is also part of your role. Conduct formal Performance Development Reviews with all staff (minimum 2 per year). Coordinate regular discussions and evaluations with staff and volunteers targeting Chapter operations. Deliver staff and volunteer development programs and plans with a focus on talent retention. You will act as a liaison point between National Headquarters (NHQ) and staff/volunteers. Conduct recruitment of new or replacement staff as required in conjunction with the NHQ Human Resources (HR) team. Manage staff or volunteer disputes or concerns to a resolution. Monitor and evaluate Chapter service delivery. Review reports submitted by Chapter Service Representatives. Fund Generation You are expected to plan the Chapter's annual fund generation strategy and campaign with a focus on PRC membership and service promotion. Deliver a strategy aligned to budget target. Manage the Chapter staff and volunteers to implement the fund generation strategy. Review the Chapters fund generation strategy regularly throughout the year to ensure budget target is achieved. Maintain and establish network with local agencies, associations, organizations, government offices, businesses, schools and civic organizations to generate funding. Assist other PRC chapters with fund generation as required. Evaluate and develop Fund Generation strategy regularly. Financial Management and Accounting Prepare annual budget for the Chapter with approval from the Board of Directors (BOD) and NHQ. Manage Chapter finances and spend within annual budget. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records. Secure all documents of financial transactions. Manage day to day financial transactions on behalf of the Chapter as per approval from BOD. Liaise with auditors on an annual basis. Prepare and maintain inventory of Chapter assets. Service Delivery and Promotion - National Blood Service Planning of annual goals, objectives and activities for the Chapter. Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of activities and overall strategy. Facilitate and coordinate donor recruitment activities. Provide education on blood donation throughout the community. Manage blood collection drives. Organize blood collection, testing and processing. Coordinate the Blood Samaritan Program as required including fund generation for the project. Direct the Blood Donor Recognition program. Service Delivery and Promotion - Disaster Management Services Plan annual goals, objectives and activities for the Chapter. Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of activities and overall strategy. Educate the community on Disaster Prevention, Mitigation and Preparedness (DPMP). Coordinate Disaster Management Training and Basic Disaster Management Training as required with support from PRC NHQ. Coordinate Community Disaster Planning Programme with support from PRC NHQ. Manage & coordinate Disaster Relief Activities (DRA). Manage & coordinate Disaster Rehabilitation Activities including but not limited to health, sanitation, livelihood programs etc. Service Delivery and Promotion - Safety Services Plan annual goals, objectives and activities for the Chapter. Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of activities and overall strategy. Raise awareness of Safety Services programs within the community. Generate attendees at beneficial Safety Services programs. Liaise with Safety Services to deliver courses as required including: Basic Life Support-Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (BLS-CPR) Courses. Swimming Courses. Water Safety Courses. Accident Prevention Courses. Organize First Aid Stations at community events. Organize Highway First Aid Stations. Coordinate Beach Patrol/Lifeguarding Services as required. Manage community ambulance services and patient transport. Community Health and Nursing Plan annual goals, objectives and activities for the Chapter. Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of activities and overall strategy. Raise awareness of Community Health and Nursing Services (CHNS) training programs. Coordinate training programs such as Basic Health Education Program and the Primary Health Care (Community- Based Health Program) in conjunction with NHQ. Organize community-based skills training including the Primary Health Care Program. Provide education and dissemination opportunities within the community promoting health and wellness. Social Services Plan annual goals, objectives and activities for the Chapter. Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of activities and overall strategy. Raise awareness of and provide access to the following services in conjunction with NHQ: Guidance and Counselling. Psychosocial Support Program (PSP)/Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). Tracing Service. Emergency Leave Assistance. Welfare Services for Vulnerable Groups - Program for Women in Difficult Situations. Welfare Services for Vulnerable Groups - Assistance for Overseas Filipino Workers. Welfare Services for Vulnerable Groups - Assistance to Persons with Disabilities. Welfare Services for Vulnerable Groups - Assistance for Disaster Victims. Military Welfare Service Cross Youth programs. Family Visit Program for the detainees. Inter-country casework. Referral Service. Early Livelihood Recovery Program. Hot Meals. Training Programs. Red Cross Youth Plan annual goals, objectives and activities for the Chapter. Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of activities and overall strategy. Educate and empower children and youth in the spirit of the PRC. Provide opportunities for children and youth to participate in humanitarian and volunteer activities. Coordinate training activities and community programs which direct and harness children and youth energy and idealism. Engage children and youth in PRC activities including membership drives, fundraising, community service, community health, IHL dissemination, national/international friendship and dissemination of the Red Cross 7 fundamental principles. International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Plan annual goals, objectives and activities for the Chapter. Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of activities and overall strategy. Raise awareness of International Humanitarian Law (IHL). Educate the community on the basics of IHL. Coordinate IHL dissemination activities. Promote IHL ensuring a rudimentary understanding. Communication Conduct regular meetings with Chapter staff and volunteers updating them on initiatives and updates from National Headquarters. Attend meetings as required with the Board of Directors, working committees, Community associations and NHQ. Coordinate activities and programs with PRC NHQ, ICRC, IFRC and various National Societies. Host Chapter visits from foreign and local Red Cross delegations and volunteers. Administration Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the Chapter building, assets, vehicles, equipment etc. You're a match if.. You have a strong background in program development, management, and delivery. You have leadership and management experience. You hold a relevant Bachelor's degree. You have at least five (5) years of professional experience in a related field and supervisory role. Job Type: Full-time
