Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• A studio technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the technical aspects of online game streaming, performing a variety of roles, such as maintaining equipment, assisting with set-up and breakdown, troubleshooting technical problems, and performing basic technical tasks
• Ensures that all equipment is functioning properly, identifying and settles any issues that may arise
• Works with the developer team in fixing, testing, replacing, and making adjustments in case of malfunction of hardware/software during games
• Ensures that all technical equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and in good working condition
• Conducts regular testing and calibrating of equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Assists with setting up and breaking down sets, lighting, and sound equipment for shoots or recordings in order to ensure that everything runs smoothly
• Troubleshooting technical problems: When technical issues arise, the studio technician is responsible for troubleshooting the problem and finding a solution. This may include checking connections, computer settings, and cables, as well as working with other technicians and engineers to resolve more complex problems
Qualifications:
• A degree or diploma in broadcast engineering, media technology, or a related field
• Experience with audio, video, lighting, live streaming equipment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Familiarity with industry-standard software and equipment
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with various stakeholders and passionate about innovation and technology
• Background in internet and online streaming is essential to perform the role effectively
