Bowling Technician

Duties & Responsibilities: Regularly check pinsetters, ball returns, lanes, scoring systems, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation.Identify and address mechanical issues quickly and effectively to minimize downtime.Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on bowling machinery to prevent equipment failures and prolong the lifespan of equipment.Ensure that all equipment adheres to safety standards and regulations. Make necessary repairs to prevent accidents or malfunctions.Clean and lubricate moving parts, machinery, and equipment as needed to maintain smooth operations.Keep track of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for repairs and maintenance.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. Report any significant issues to management.When required, support lane conditioning and resurfacing to maintain quality play conditions.Occasionally interact with guests to address lane or equipment issues promptly and professionally.Work closely with the hospitality staff and management to ensure smooth operations during peak hours or events. Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Experience with mechanical and electrical systems, particularly in bowling equipment or similar machinery.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.Ensures precision in repairs and maintenance to avoid disruptions in operations.Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.Previous experience as a bowling technician or in a similar technical role is preferred.Relevant certifications in bowling equipment maintenance or mechanical repair are a plus.
