Position Overview: The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring that our accounting practices adhere to established standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Record Keeping: Accurately record and maintain financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
Financial Reports: Prepare and generate financial reports, such as trial balances, balance sheets, and income statements.
Expense Tracking: Monitor and track expenses, ensuring they are within budgetary constraints and properly documented.
Invoices and Payments: Process invoices, issue payments, and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collections.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
Documentation: Organize and maintain financial records and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
Support: Assist with monthly and annual closing processes, as well as any other accounting tasks as required.
Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or certification in bookkeeping or accounting preferred.
Experience: Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is preferred.
Skills: Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial data.
Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
