Job Description:
The Bookkeeper will oversee the company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, compliance, and daily financial transactions and reconciliations.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills, a high regard for details, flexibility & adaptability, and possesses essential accounting skills.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Records day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process.
- Checks and verifies source documents such as invoices, receipts, etc.
- Responsible for efficiently managing and maintaining the company's accounts payable function.
- Ensures all accounts are reconciled accurately into the accounting system.
- Facilitates the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings.
- Facilitates BIR lodgements and other government compliance reports.
- Consolidates periodical management reports.
- Ensures accounting procedures are compliant with regulations.
- Consolidates periodic corporate and other related budgets for the company.
- Consolidates financial forecast reports.
- Analyses company finances to determine risks and variances.
- Monitors company cash flow and bank balances.
- Oversees both internal and external company audits.
- Provides support in financial reviews and progress reports.
Preferred Profile:
With minimum of two-year relevant experience as a Bookkeeper/Accountant
Proficiency with Xero accounting software is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
Has high level of English communication skills.
Has highly developed attention to details.
With excellent time-management skills.
Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to set, manage, and drive own schedule.
With ability to work independently while maintaining a team mindset.
Possesses a positive attitude, receptive to feedback, and with an open-minded approach to new or urgent tasks.
Has flexibility to accommodate ad hoc and urgent requests.
