Job Description

At least 4 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.

Good verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills

Can work with less supervision

Honest and trustworthy

Key Responsibilities

Check vouchers, tickets and consumer loan availments submitted by the loan processor.

Prepare the daily list of posted transactions and trial balance.

Prepare the monthly trial balance.

Prepare the monthly financial statements.
- Prepare the monthly bank reconciliation statement and other reports.

Conduct monthly reconciliation of head office/branch accounts

Monthly check the subsidiary ledgers for receivables and payables.

Coordinates with other bookkeepers, accounting clerks and the cashier for the efficient performance of bookkeeping functions.

Supervise the different accounting clerks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of entries for the financial statements.

Submit quarterly reports, particularly SEC reports to Accounting/Branch Head for review.

Supervise the accounting department in the absence of Group Head.

Basic Purpose:
 

To ensure smooth flow of the accounting function by preparing accounting entries and financial statements and by checking the company's subsidiary ledgers.
