About the role
This specialistwill support the financial operations of the client's eCommerce business and play a critical role in supporting financial reporting, analysis, and data entry to support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Responsibilities: Maintain accurate unit costs for each SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) that feeds into the ERP system. Ensure the correctness of COGs (Cost of Goods Sold) across the business, primarily through data entry tasks. Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports. Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks, including invoicing, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts. Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy. Update and maintain financial records in the ERP system and other financial software. Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions. Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned by management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; CPA or CA designation preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience inbookkeeping Minimum of 2 years of experience in the eCommerce or retail industry particularly working with lots of SKUs/inventory codes
Proficiency in accounting software (Xero) and advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards in the job Benefits: $50 Internet Allowance $50 HMO allowance 20 days Paid Time Off #J-18808-Ljbffr
