The role of the BIM Team Leader involves guiding a dynamic group of BIM experts within a diverse Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) setting. This includes offering comprehensive insights and skills spanning multiple fields, with particular emphasis on Architectural & Structural (ARST) as well as Mechanical, Electrical, ECE, Plumbing, Sanitary & Fire Protection (MEPFS) systems. As the BIM Team Lead, will assume a central role in guaranteeing the effective completion of BIM projects while upholding adherence to BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and the precise specifications of Levels of Design (LOD).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Experience in all disciplines, specializing on at least the combination of the following fields:
1.a. Architectural & Structural (ARST)

1.b. Mechanical, Electrical, ECE, Plumbing, Sanitary & Fire Protection (MEPFS)

Lead a team of at most 12 people.
Understand the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and the different Levels of Design (LOD).
Leads the preparation and execution of BIM modelling by following the BEP set by either the BIM Manager or the client.
Have full knowledge on the technical scope per project prior to execution.
Set a standard for BIM Modellers / BIM Specialists to follow prior to execution of BIM.
Leads the QA/QC of all BIM models prior to submission.
Leads BIM meetings with different entities (i.e., internal team, clients, consultants, contractors, other design/construction parties)
Able to assist the team technically in producing BIM models of any discipline.
Leads by example, ensuring that all documents / models is set by using a proper standard, not just for the sake of submission.
Create construction documents from 3D models based on LODs set by the clients
Execute projects and on-time delivery to clients.
Defend all technical works to clients, with the help of the whole team.
Adhere to ISO BIM workflow standards set by the company.
Able to lead the team on any given scenario (office-based, WFH or hybrid work)

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines: Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering, or Sanitary Engineering.
A Diploma in BIM Modeling or an equivalent level of practical experience.
Possession of a Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) License as an Architect or Civil/MEP Engineer.
A valid license in Interior Design or Landscape Architecture is also considered.
A BIM Modeling certification is a significant plus. Proficiency in BIM-related software, including Autodesk REVIT, Navisworks, and AutoCAD is essential.
A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in BIM, Architecture, or Engineering.
Proven track record of at least 5 years in a leadership role managing BIM teams.
Proficiency in BIM360 is required.
Familiarity with Escape is an added advantage.
Knowledge of BIM ISO 19650-1 & 19650-2 is considered a plus.
Familiarity with 4D Simulation through tools like Navisworks or other relevant software is a valuable asset.
Understanding of BIM Asset/Facilities Management principles is advantageous.
A strong understanding of construction workflow procedures and the capabilities of BIM Modeling tools is expected.
Demonstrated working experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and/or Construction industry.
A thorough knowledge of the latest BIM Forum LOD standards is mandatory.
Proven high-level experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships.
A team player who is willing to travel and work on-site as required.
