This position is remote and offers you the flexibility of working from home. Accurately enter patient and billing information into the EHR/EMR system to ensure up-to-date records and claims accuracyAssist in reviewing, cleaning up, and resubmitting claims in the clearinghouse to resolve errors and ensure smooth processingContact physicians and healthcare providers to request missing or incomplete billing information, including CPT codes, diagnosis codes, and other necessary details for accurate claims submissionTrack and follow up on claims issues, promptly obtaining any missing information to prevent payment delaysMaintain thorough and accurate records of all communications, actions taken, and claims status for internal tracking and auditing purposesEnsure all billing activities comply with relevant healthcare regulations, insurance requirements, and organizational policies Previous experience in medical billing, specifically in Telehealth, is preferredProficiency with EHR/EMR systems; experience with billing software such as Practice Fusion and Sigma Care is a plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication skills, especially in dealing with providers and healthcare teams.Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of data entry and administrative tasksFamiliarity with healthcare coding, including CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes, is preferred Industry standards applicable to the state depending on work experience and level of expertise.
