Job Summary The Billing Coordinator primary responsibility is ensuring timely vendor payment by reconciling vendor invoices. Duties also include entering vendor invoices and production invoices into buying systems. The Billing Coordinator is a liaison between the Digital Operations Team, Media Buyers, Media Vendors, and the Finance Department. This role requires efficiency in the workflow processes, close attention to detail, impeccable time management, and communication skills. The ideal candidate has a 'can do' attitude, well organized, detail & solutions-oriented, able to multitask, and focus on accuracy & timeliness.
Duties and Responsibilities Must be able to meet hard deadlines, receive and reply to internal and external billing questions, create, and maintain project reports, spot inconsistencies, and resolve vendor billing discrepancies. Utilize dashboards to reconcile planned, purchase and delivered media. Track and ensure information on invoices are correct (SMS, PO number, amount, etc. Preparation of accruals, billing and reconciliations based on client calendars. Ensure all invoices are received and that the billed amounts match the delivered amount. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. Serve as the main point of contact for general billing questions and educate the team as needed. Effectively balance multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to competing priorities & a fast-paced environment. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors. Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate client billing. Internally cultivate relationships, remove barriers and participate in problem solving. Perform other related work as required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance or equivalent course/degree. Strong familiarity with Excel Strong mathematical skills Able to problem solve with proactive diligence. Highly organized and detail-oriented with an analytical mindset Customer Service oriented Effective communicator Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally Ability to handle multiple projects, requests, and priorities at the same time. Business related computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/salesforce.com Project management and problem-solving skills
