Researching and identifying potential suppliers/vendors for required goods and services.Negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.Generating purchase orders based on approved requisitions or requests from internal departments.Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure open communication and resolve any issues that arise.Collaborating with inventory management teams to ensure adequate stock levels of critical items.Preparing budget forecasts and cost estimates for upcoming procurement needs.Maintaining accurate records of purchasing activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier correspondence.Addressing and resolving any issues or discrepancies in procurement transactions.Proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks in the procurement process.Entering purchased items into an Excel file and labeling materials before handing them over to authorized personnel.Performs other tasks that might be assigned from time to time
