Work Experience:
Project Management Experience:
2+ years of experience in managing renewable energy projects, with at least 2–3 years focusing on BESS or solar power plants.
Technical Experience:
Hands-on experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including lithium-ion battery technologies, hybrid inverters, and energy management systems (EMS).
Familiarity with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and their integration with BESS.
Technical Skills:
BESS Knowledge:
Expertise in BESS design, installation, operation, and maintenance.
Familiarity with energy storage technologies, battery cycling, and degradation.
System Integration:
Knowledge of solar and BESS integration, including inverter configurations, grid compliance, and interconnection standards.
Electrical and Control Systems:
Understanding of electrical systems, switchgear, protection schemes, and control systems.
Familiarity with SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling plant performance.
Regulatory Compliance:
Knowledge of Philippine energy regulations and safety standards related to solar and BESS installations.
Soft Skills:
Leadership and Team Management:
Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and clients.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions efficiently.
Project Management:
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and methodologies.
Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
Certifications (Preferred):
Project Management Certifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.
Battery Technology and Safety Certifications:
Specialized training or certifications in BESS systems and energy storage.
Safety Certifications:
Occupational safety and health certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to travel or be stationed at Tarlac Power Plant
Willing to be on a project based term.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance.
