We are a headhunter agency matching top talent in The Philippines with fast-growing US and global companies. We are hiring an ambitious and talented Back-End Developer to join a Nimble company.Our client is an artificial intelligence platform developing AI agents that automate back office tasks.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6 hours flexible, 2 hours overlap during EST business hours
Salary range: $1,500 - $2,000 per month
Responsibilities Develop robust and scalable back-end solutions using Python, with a focus on FastAPI for API development. Design, implement, and maintain databases, with a strong emphasis on PostgreSQL. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic. Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Work closely with AI and machine learning teams, integrating AI models and algorithms into the back-end infrastructure. Optimize application for maximum speed, efficiency, and scalability. Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and mentor junior developers. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AI, implementing relevant technologies and tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and UI/UX designers, to achieve project goals. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (at least 3 years) as a Back-End Developer with a strong focus on Python development. Expertise in using FastAPI for building high-performance APIs. Solid understanding of database design and experience with PostgreSQL. Familiarity with AI concepts and a keen interest in artificial intelligence. Experience with OpenAI or similar AI frameworks is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize code for performance. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Ability to work in an agile development environment and meet project deadlines. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
