**The opportunity**

The AVP MBPS Infrastructure acts as the overall ETS site leader for the MBPS locations ( Quezon City, Cebu).
**Responsibilities**:

- Direct responsibility and oversight of a team of ~140 and matrixed responsibility for the ~400 ETS employees at the MBPS locations.
- Develop ETS offshore support Model to provide 7/24 ETS support teams in Asia and North America
- Partners with the various ETS and Segment IT teams to build relationships, develop site goals, drive consistent performance, ensure open and continuous communications and highlight areas of service improvement for the MBPS business.
- Act as the senior escalation point for both technical and stakeholder issues in build projects and in the overall delivery of technology services for MBPS.
- Participate in the planning, development, deployment of innovative solutions that meet existing and future market/business needs with respect to cost, functionality, performance, scalability and reliability.
- Execute ETS technical strategy as applicable to MBPS to enable all current and future service needs for all MBPS staff
- Identify, solution and implement technical solutions/services which are unique to MBPS and ensure they are aligned to the ETS technical strategy.
- Collaborate with the MPBS business stakeholders to develop, fund and execute a 24-month rolling roadmap will that deliver technology services in anticipation of business demand.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the ETS and Segment IT groups to ensure that MBPS specific requirements, issues, and constraints are reflected in design and solution activities.
- Effectively communicate plans and provide consultative advice, counsel, education and guidance across all levels on the delivery of the IT services to the MBPS business.
- Increase cross business unit collaboration and drive the sharing of Operational Best Practices across all Business Units and functions within MBPS **.

- Recruit and build a high performing team of experienced support engineers and technology leaders
- Lead and execute common, consistent and accurate performance and metrics reporting specific to MBPS for ETS to contribute to the site-wide balanced scorecard and dashboard (weekly/monthly/annually).
- Local matrix management across all IS & ETS employees in MBPS, to facilitate all local communications and alignment to local MBPS standards & policies, and Global Manulife IT team.
- Promoting collaboration with the team and across the organization.
- Work with Local MBPS GM/ MBPS HR and IT Primary manager in driving accountability and decision making around Hiring / Termination, Movements, Performance rating, Compensation/bonus, Goal setting, Development and Engagement.
- Facilitate labor and employee relation activities aligned to local labor practices
