Automotive Service Advisor

Details of the offer

The Automotive Service Advisor serves as a vital link between customers and the service department. This role involves understanding customer needs, providing recommendations for repairs and maintenance, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The advisor will also manage service appointments, coordinate with technicians, and handle customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction

Greet customers and assess their service needs.
Provide information on available services, repairs, and pricing.
Service Coordination

Schedule service appointments and manage the service workflow.
Liaise between customers and technicians to ensure clear communication regarding repairs.
Estimates and Recommendations

Prepare service estimates and explain recommended services to customers.
Upsell additional services based on vehicle condition and customer needs.
Follow-up and Customer Care

Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Documentation and Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history.
Process warranty claims and manage service invoices.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an automotive course or any related
Experience in automotive dealership is an advantage
Handle telephone inquiries and advice customer necessary repair and routine maintenance
Schedule and dispatch service repair appointments
Prepare service and parts quotation
Keeps service department forms and pricing guides up to date
At least One (1) year experience in Automotive field. Knowledge in forklift is an advantage but not required
