Key Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation: Prepare automotive and industrial surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and masking, ensuring the surface is free of imperfections for optimal paint adhesion.
Paint Application: Apply primers, basecoats, clear coats, and other paint finishes using a variety of techniques, such as spray guns, rollers, and brushes, while ensuring an even and consistent finish.
Color Matching & Mixing: Precisely mix and match paint colors to achieve desired hues for both automotive finishes and industrial coatings, maintaining uniformity and consistency across surfaces.
Coating & Protection: Apply specialized industrial coatings, such as rust-prevention primers, high-temperature-resistant paints, and protective finishes for heavy-duty equipment.
Quality Control: Inspect work for consistency, gloss, texture, and durability to ensure the highest quality standards. Identify and correct any issues such as runs, sags, and surface defects.
Repair & Refinishing: Perform touch-ups and repairs on previously painted surfaces, ensuring proper blending and smooth finishes in both automotive and industrial settings.
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain painting equipment, including spray guns, compressors, and booths. Ensure that work areas are clean, organized, and in compliance with safety standards.
Health & Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of hazardous materials. Adhere to OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of jobs completed, materials used, and time spent on each task. Report any issues or delays to supervisors promptly.
