WHAT IS AN AUTOMATION TESTER

Our awesome client, a leadingThoroughbred horseracing company based in Australia is looking for an AUTOMATION TESTER to be part of their team.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform functional and non-functional tests both locally and remotely.
Create, maintain and improve the automated testing suite.
Adhere to high standards of development practice and self-management of work.
Liaising with internal and external technology peers in a professional and respectful manner.
Continuous improvement of automation framework, documenting and updating as needed
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
You are proactive, have great interpersonal skills and show a willingness to adapt and learn.
These are some of your verifiable attributes:
Extensive experience in Quality Assurance and functional testing.
Significant experience in test automation using Selenium (or similar).
Experience in test automation scripting using Java or JavaScript
Solid experience in agile software delivery practices.
Experience in testing against microservices such as APIs.
Nice to have (but not essential)
Degree in Software Development or related discipline
Experience in testing in an AWS environment.
Experience with CMS such as Contentful, Sitecore or other similar products.
Exposure to concepts of UX, wireframes and other visual design tools.
