Qualifications:

-Proven experience in designing and implementing automated systems in a manufacturing environment.
-Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI development, and automation software.
-Strong understanding of multi-axis robotic systems, pneumatics, industrial control systems, sensors, actuators, and robotics.
-Experience with CAD software for designing automated systems.
-Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to automation.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
-Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement automated systems and processes for manufacturing and production lines, ensuring they meet quality standards and improve efficiency.
-Programming: Create and maintain PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) configurations, and other automation software for various equipment and machinery.
-Multi-Axis Robots & Pneumatics: Design and integrate multi-axis robotic systems and pneumatic components into production processes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
-System Integration: Integrate automated systems with existing production equipment, ensuring seamless operation and minimal downtime.
-Process Optimization: Analyze current production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement automation solutions to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and lower operational costs.
-Global Collaboration: Work closely with automation colleagues in Europe and Canada to align automation strategies, share best practices, and ensure consistency across global operations.
-Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on automation systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise to minimize production disruptions.
-Collaboration: Work closely with the production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure automation systems align with overall manufacturing goals and quality standards.
-Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation for automated systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
-Training: Provide training and support to production staff on the operation and maintenance of automated systems.
