Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

Create control system and software design specifications and associated documentation for solutions.
Development of PLC code in line with ISO procedures and defined standards.
Develop and manage documentation e.g. URS, FDS, DDS, FAT, SAT, IOPQ, etc.
Liaising with other Engineers on implementation, simulation, and integration to SCADA software and other embedded applications.
Design and create integration procedures for communications and network infrastructure.
Communicate to the electrical team for the assembly of control panels and instruction guidelines for installations on-site.
Test and commissioning guidelines for testing and commissioning.
Provide on-site support from time to time.

Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
At least more than 4 years of proven working experience in Automation related to software development and turn-key projects;
Preferably with experience in implementing industrial automation projects from manufacturing, water and wastewater, power and energy, and other industrial sectors.
With experience in PLC programming particularly to TwinCAT, Codesys, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and other related PLC brands.
Experienced SCADA/ HMI programmer particularly Ignition, Aveva, FactoryTalk, Siemens WinCC, and other related SCADA/ HMI software.
Experience in network design, configurations, and implementation for EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, and other related industrial communication protocols.
Experience in using, configuring, and development using OPC UA, MQTT, and other related IIoT communication protocols.
