JOB PURPOSE: Plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing automated systems and processes to improve production efficiency, quality, and consistency; Involves close collaboration with our global automation teams in Europe and Canada, ensuring alignment and integration of automation strategies across our international operations

Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and/or Mechanical EngineeringProven experience in designing and implementing automated systems in a manufacturing environmentProficiency in PLC programming, HMI development, and automation softwareStrong understanding of multi-axis robotic systems, pneumatics, industrial control systems, sensors, actuators, and roboticsExperience with CAD software for designing automated systemsKnowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to automationExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principlesKnowledge of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and smart manufacturing technologiesExperience working in a global team environment
