The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for Australian businesses. This role requires expertise in various accounting software and a deep understanding of Australian tax regulations.

The key duties include:
Managing daily financial transactions (accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations).
Preparing and lodging BAS (Business Activity Statements).
Reconciling bank accounts, credit card accounts, and general ledger entries.
Processing payroll, including superannuation and PAYG withholding.
Managing cash flow and budgeting processes.
Producing regular financial reports for management.
Liaising with external accountants and auditors as needed.
Using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, and QBO for accurate bookkeeping and compliance.

Key Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience in Australia.
Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Education: Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or equivalent qualifications.
Tax Knowledge: Familiarity with Australian taxation, including GST, BAS preparation, superannuation, and PAYG.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with Australian clients.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide financial insights to improve business efficiency.
