Position Overview
RecruitGo is in search of a Bookkeeping Manager who will be working with our client based in Australia. Our client provides Bookkeeping and Accounting Services.
Aside from your established skills and expertise, we are also looking for someone who has strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage both upward and downward communications, excellent written and verbal English skills, and has ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day workflow and deadlines for a bookkeeping team Provide team training and guidance to support a team Conduct regular meetings with a team and be able to communicate effectively to resolve issues Review and verify the accuracy of financial data and transactions including payroll Work closely with the Senior Manager and Director with Management Reporting including the reconciliation of financial statements Serve as the primary point of contact for all queries related to bookkeeping within the team Communicate directly with clients where applicable Evaluate the performance of team members and provide constructive feedback Assist with performance improvement and career development plans for team members Qualifications
MUST HAVE: Must be a graduate of Accounting Degree & CPA 5+ years of experience in Australian bookkeeping or accounting roles 3-5years in a managerial or supervisory role is crucial, as this position requires managing a large team of bookkeepers Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage both upward and downward communications Proficiency in Xero & Microsoft Office Excellent written and verbal English skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment NICE TO HAVE: Experience with Xero Ecosystem apps including Dext, Deputy, Lightspeed Why RecruitGo?
