Au Tax Accountant

Job Posting: Tax Accountant (with Background in Australian Public Practice Taxation)

Key Responsibilities:
• Client Management: Build strong relationships, assist with strategic meetings, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Tax Compliance & Advisory: Prepare and review tax returns, provide advice on various tax matters, and manage end-of-year tax planning.
• ATO & Regulatory Compliance: Utilize ATO Portal, ensure timely lodgments, and assist with ATO payment plans.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, reports, and conduct detailed financial analysis.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in XERO Tax, MYOB, and advanced Excel skills.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years in Australian Public Practice Taxation.
• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CA, or IPA qualification (or progress towards).
• XERO certifications and Tax Agent registration desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and fluent in English.
