As a Commercial Cookery Trainer and Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in imparting knowledge, skills, and industry expertise to aspiring chefs and culinary professionals. Your primary responsibilities will involve delivering training, assessing competency, and ensuring the development of vocational skills in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Job Description:
-Assess the competency of learners through practical demonstrations, written assessments, and observation of workplace performance.Provide instruction and support to learners pursuing Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, guiding them through the requirements of the qualification and facilitating their learning journey. -Demonstrate vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices. Maintain current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided, staying abreast of emerging trends and developments in the culinary field. -Apply current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning to inform your training and assessment practices, fostering an engaging and effective learning environment. -Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or upgraded equivalent), demonstrating proficiency in training delivery, assessment design, and competency evaluation.
Requirements
