Hi! We're Smartsourcing, looking for an AU Assistant who can work with us full-time and on-site!
Where??? JEG Tower, Archbishop Reyes, Corner Acacia St., Barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City, Cebu As an AU Accountant, you'll play a vital role in managing inventory, overseeing accounts, and providing exceptional customer support to help our partner's business continue to thrive. This role is designed to support category management efforts, assist with essential accounting procedures, and provide high-quality customer service. You'll work closely with the GM Finance and Web Marketing teams to drive growth and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Some of the things we expect you to do are to: Category Administration Manage and track discontinued stock in financial systems. Analyze industry and consumer trends to inform strategic decisions. Collaborate with the GM Finance and Web Marketing teams to develop long-term category strategies and buying plans. Help develop promotional programs, customer offers, and opportunity purchases, ensuring inventory aligns with promotional efforts. Build relationships with key suppliers to support product promotion. Accounts & Administration Reconcile Shopify orders and bank deposits daily. Handle accounts payable and maintain General Ledger accounts. Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes. Answer customer inquiries about orders, both through email and phone. Support the Web Marketing Administrator in managing 3rd party Shopify applications and customer service. We would need you to be or have the following: At least 2 years experience in bookkeeping, financial administration, or product administration. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adaptability. Excellent spoken and written English skills. Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently and within a team. It would be awesome if you are or also have: Certificate IV in Financial Accounting or a similar qualification is highly preferred. Background in pet products is beneficial but not required.
