Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage precise financial records, encompassing accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Execute payroll processing for large accounts utilizing Australian payroll systems, ensuring adherence to pertinent legislation and regulations.
Timely preparation and submission of BAS (Business Activity Statement)
Conduct reconciliations of payroll and financial data to guarantee accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities as required.
Engage with internal teams and external stakeholders to address financial inquiries and provide assistance.
Keep abreast of changes in Australian payroll laws, taxation, and accounting standards to maintain compliance.
Qualifications:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA certification is advantageous.
Demonstrate proven experience as a Bookkeeper/ Accountant specializing in Australian payroll processing.
Possess a solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation, encompassing tax rates, superannuation, and leave entitlements.
Proficient in using accounting software like MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooks, coupled with experience in AU payroll-specific software.
Display excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
Capable of working independently, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines.
Exhibit strong communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, clients, and external entities.
Available to start immediately and willing to work onsite in Angeles City.
