Associate Vice President Of Accounting

Staff4Me is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Associate Vice President of Accounting to join our finance team. As the Associate Vice President of Accounting, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations, managing the accounting department, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Responsibilities Overseeing the General Ledger, accounting policies, and technical accounting; ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with USGAAPs Preparation of financial statements free of material errors in compliance with the close schedule Developing talent / optimizing team performance through stretch assignments, leadership exposure, career deliberations, feedback, among others Assisting teams in prioritization of workload and projects, creating a picture to influence decision-making, facilitating collaboration across staff and departments Medium to long-term strategic vision to define the accounting team structure by identifying opportunities in advance Managerial duties include guidance on accounting related questions, assistance for front-line management, training and development Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field CPA certification is required 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations Strong leadership and team management skills Proven experience in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting Experience with managing complex financial operations and ERP systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Prior experience in the technology industry is highly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
