Are you a recent graduate with a passion for technology and cybersecurity? We are a Microsoft partner company seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Associate Security Engineers. This role is ideal for those enthusiastic about learning and contributing to cybersecurity initiatives with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
What you will do in this role: Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Microsoft-based security systems, including Microsoft Defender, Azure Security Center, and Microsoft Sentinel.Participate in the implementation of security measures to protect information systems using Microsoft security frameworks and tools.Collaborate with the engineering and technical support teams to address customer support needs in Microsoft environments.Engage in continuous learning and work towards obtaining relevant Microsoft security certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals).Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents across Microsoft cloud environments, on-premises, and hybrid solutions.Working late hours and weekends would be required as part of 24×7 security engineering team on roster basis.Qualifications: A degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, especially in Microsoft technologies.Professional certifications and affiliations related to Security.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new Microsoft security technologies and challenges.Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft security tools and technologies such as Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft Intune.Understanding and basic knowledge on vulnerability assessment tools, automation, PowerShell and Kusto (KQL).Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network protocols.Professional Development: Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth, with a focus on Microsoft security solutions.Support for obtaining relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) and Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).How to get in touch with us: E-mail your CV to ******** along with the contact details of two non-related referees.
