Assitant Marketing Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION Works with the MSG Senior Manager with all SMDC internal Project Campaigns andAdvertising requirementsManage coordination, meetings and liaise with, Internal Brand Marketing Group,Creatives and Support Ad Agencies (Media, PR, Digital, Trade and Events) to discussand identify all advertising requirementswork with the agency colleagues to devise an advertising campaign that meets the briefand budgetPresent (alongside MSG colleagues - particularly the BHA Senior Manager) thecampaign ideas and budget to the Marketing and MSG Head.work with the Internal Creatives, Brands Team and External Support Agencies accountmanagers to brief media, creative and research staff and assist with the formulation ofmarketing strategies, both internal and external.Liaise with, and act as the link between, the client and the advertising agency bymaintaining regular contact with bothEnsure that communication flows effectivelyNegotiate with internal clients and agency staff about the details of campaignsPresent creative work to clients for approval or modificationHandle budgets, manage campaign costsWrite weekly reportsMonitor the effectiveness of campaignsUndertake administrative tasksArrange and attend meetings JOB QUALIFICATIONS A proactive attitude, with the ability to use initiative and be flexibleExcellent organisational skillsThe ability to work under pressure and assimilate large quantities of information quickly,while maintaining attention to detailDrive and determination and willingness to learnEffective team working skillsInfluencing and negotiation skillsOral and written communication skillsCommercial awarenessA passion for advertising and an understanding of what makes a good advertisementResilience, to enable you to deal with problems and constructive criticism
