Join our team as an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor located in Digos, Davao del Sur. This is a full-time position that will see you supporting the Warehouse Supervisor in overseeing the efficient and effective operations of our distribution facility.
What you'll be doing:
• Oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the central warehouse, including monitoring all incoming and outgoing materials to construction sites and from the central warehouse, while ensuring efficient coordination amongst the warehouse personnel.
• Monitors and enforces compliance with company policies and safety regulations to ensure the safety of all warehouse employees.
• Manages inventory of the tools and supplies kept at the central warehouse and site warehouse, which includes maintaining accurate records, conducting cycle counts, and resolving any discrepancies.
• Effectively plans and allocates resources in order to meet daily operational requirements, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime.
• Trains, mentors, and provides regular feedback to warehouse personnel in order to cultivate their skills and expertise, enabling them to carry out their duties with utmost efficiency.
• Consistently seeks out opportunities for process improvement and implements changes to increase efficiency and decrease costs.
• Conducts regular inspections and audits to maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with quality standards.
• Manages and resolves any warehouse-related issues or conflicts that may arise, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining positive employee relations.
• Prepares and analyzes reports on warehouse operations, including productivity, inventory levels, and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Performs other relevant tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
What we're looking for:
• Graduate of Accountancy Accounting-related course
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment
• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and experience in implementing safety protocols
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and proficiency in using relevant software applications
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
