Assistant Purchasing Manager

Assist the Purchasing Manager in sourcing, negotiating and purchasing feed, medical supplies, equipment, construction materials and other necessary items for the Piggery Business.Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.Collaborate with the Production and Sales departments to ensure timely procurement of materials and goods to meet the needs of the business.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to procurement and supply chain management.Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities related to procurement.Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant information.Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Support the Purchasing Manager in other related tasks and projects as needed.
