Assistant Mechanical Technician

Qualifications: Graduate of a two (2) year Technical/Vocational CourseAt least (2) two years of related work experienceFamiliar with repair/troubleshooting of Fast Rescue Boat, Inflatable Rescue Boat, and LifeboatComputer literate Duties and Responsibilities: Basic understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics and auto-electrical systems.Strong attention to detailPerforms timely repairs, troubleshooting, maintenance and upgrades of equipment, machines and facilitiesEnsures that maintenance of all equipmentEnsures that the Lead Mechanical Technician and Site Facility Manager is well informed on any defective mechanical equipment/machines.Ensures compliance on the quality and safety standards.
Performs other tasks or special projects that may be assigned from time to time.
