Assistant Manager - Research and DevelopmentThe key objective of the position is to contribute to the growth and profitability of Leslie Corporation by providing the management of MB advice and services in the areas of product development, formulations and other related processing pertaining to Food Manufacturing.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES New Product DevelopmentNew product development and approval (Minute Burger/BBQ Bob/Butcher Bob)Market Testing/ pilot run testOversee fine tuning of new products based on results of market tests.System-wide launch of new productsReview sets-up standards and specifications for new products developedImprovement of Existing ProductsEfficiencies and Cost ReductionQuality ImprovementProcess ImprovementProviding Technical Support to the different Operating DepartmentsAssists in the troubleshooting of production departmentsPerforms other functions necessary.EXPERIENCE: At least 8 years experience in Research and Product Development in Food Manufacturing Operations or any related food industrySkilled in project managementGood in creating oral and written reports
