Job Overview:
Shared Services is an individual contributor role with responsibility to review the existing processes and at the same time ensuring enhancement of the processes for better TAT. The role requires responding to requests for information and provides guidance on the correct place to access information
Key Performance Indicators:
- To support the Shared Service function with the full range of HR, Training & Recruitment administrative duties which includes Payroll , Benefits , Background Verification , Document Management and Attendance and Time keeping
- Provides database security, system administration and design/alterations
- Assists with Human Resources metric reporting.
- HR metric analysis. Prepares and provides information on employee demographics, trends and projections.
- Maintains/updates system tables, passwords, organizations
- Handles end to end HR Operations from onboarding to offboarding for payroll processing, compensation and benefits of employee
- responsible to run a timely and accurate processes, Handles people manager responsibilities
- monitors team's performance by planning reviews/cadence/discussions and coaching sessions
- Determines the opportunities on how processes could be improved
- Constant coordination with Operations and Department heads regarding employee payroll issues and updates on processes in Payroll and Benefits.
- Handles new hire orientation process
- Monitoring and validating all payroll inputs, consolidation and review of all payroll disputes, 13th month pay and yearend tax annualization processing
- Performs final review of payroll reports/outputs by validating instructions. Handles employee bonuses, incentives, salary adjustments/changes
- Handles end to end final pay processing from instruction preparation, endorsement to third party vendor, validation of final pay register and bank upload
- Handles COE and other government related documents
- Adheres to internal controls, reviews policies
- Very strong knowledge of labor codes and statutory requirements
- Prepares monthly and weekly reports for government agencies, internal stakeholders
- Participates in Internal/external audits
- Works with third party partners for payroll and benefits administration
- Reviews and approves sickness/maternity benefits/salary advances
Qualifiactions:
• Bachelor's Degree Graduate (4 or 5 years course completed)
• HR Process expertise
• Working knowledge of labor laws.
• 4 to 6 years' experience in an HR SS role, (BPO experience would be preferred).
