We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager Credit Administration and Secured Lending. Role Purpose To oversee the proper administration of Credit Administration and Secured Lending – commercial home loan, asset link accounts and processing staff loans related activities in line with the Staff Financial Assistance Plan (FAP) guidelines, in accordance with the Bank's established policies and procedures, and adherence to prescribed service standards.
Principal Accountabilities: Check the accuracy, monitor timely preparation and dispatch of Secured Lending documentations. Ensure the accuracy of loan details by checking working files on the disbursement of loan proceeds and approving maintenances (drawdowns, amendments, restructuring) done in HUB Lending System (HLS) for Home Loans, Staff Loans and Asset Links including signing of Manager's Cheques (MCs). Verify and approve MWS (MyWorkspace) transactions for Home Loans, Staff Loans and Asset Links as required. Ensure 1) the accuracy of payment working file and timely processing of loan payments, and 2) payment investigations/queries are completed within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) Assist Secured Lending Lead/Delegate in creating, implementing and reviewing of procedures. Assist in other functions within WPB Operations that may be assigned from time to time. Perform and assist to oversee Collateral Management – Security Perfection, Security Maintenance and Security Closure. Adheres to processes and controls to identify and mitigate risks and ensures timely escalation of control issues and reputation risks. Maintains awareness of risk and minimizes the likelihood of it occurring through its identification, assessment, mitigation and control. Qualifications Knowledge in MS Excel, HUB, MWS and HLS Knowledge and familiarity of procedures/SLA of other departments associated with Secured Lending You'll achieve more when you join HSBC.
