**Qualifications**:
Doctoral degree in computer science, game design, multimedia arts, or related multimedia and computing fields
At least 1 year of tertiary-level teaching experience, or professional, or research experience directly relevant to computer science, game design, multimedia arts
Substantial scholarly contribution in one's field of specialization, evidenced by commissioned researchprojects, and publications in reputable conferences or journals.
Active participation in professional organizations.
Applicant should be capable of teaching either multimedia or game design courses:
For those interested in handling multimedia art or related courses, must be proficient in one or more 2D/3D authoring software in Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, Substance Painter, and ZBrush.
For those interested in handling game design courses, must have strong math/statistics background, and experience in game research and teachings, such as HCI for games, gamification, educational games, or serious games, game business, and game production.
Job Description/Summary
Standard teaching load of 12 hours per week.
The remaining work hours shall be devoted to class preparation, research, thesis advising, committee work, consultancy, industry immersion, and other approved activities.
Participates in the review and curriculum improvement of the undergraduate Interactive Entertainment program.
Must be willing to teach classes at the Laguna campus, where the program is based.
Faculty rank and salary are determined based on the academic degree, teaching experience and research track record.
