We are seeking to appoint tenure-track Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Marketing and Tourism.
Qualifications Responsibilities ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS (ESSENTIAL) A doctoral degree in a marketing, tourism or closely related field, with an international publishing track record. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (DESIRABLE) Professional experience in any key marketing areas is highly desirable (e.g., Marketing Director; Marketing Executive; Brand Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, Social Marketing Manager; national, regional, or international hospitality or tourism industry, and other relevant fields is strongly desired. Experience gained in an international environment will be particularly valued. TEACHING EXPERIENCE (DESIRABLE) Local and/or international business school teaching experience (teaching experience at postgraduate level at AACSB or EQUIS accredited schools is desirable) Experience in teaching courses at the graduate level Practices participant-centered learning Familiarity with teaching and developing online courses AREAS OF EXPERTISE Demonstrable expertise in one or more methodologies in Marketing and Tourism/Hospitality academic literature Desirable areas of expertise and specific research interests may include: Market Research Consumer Behavior Marketing Strategies Customer Acquisition, Retention, Loyalty Branding Advertising Digital Marketing Social Marketing Integrated Marketing Communication Marketing Analytics Sales Management Service Marketing B2B and B2C Marketing Tourism and/or Hospitality Management Role of Marketing in Responsible and Ethical Tourism Sustainable Tourism Environmental, Economic, and Socio-cultural Development in Tourism Environmental and Cultural Heritage Tourism Sustainable Tourism Destinations and Regional Tourism Environmental Impact Assessment in Tourism Ecotourism Sustainable Communities and Tourism: Community Resources and Development
