Associate will be providing the complete range of required functionality and related services for asset management. Create hardware and software asset inventories and track asset attributes (attributes will be defined Mutually with Wipro/ EXL team) such as
1. Specific information pertinent to the particular hardware asset
2. Physical location
3. Unique identifier of the asset
4. Support contract and information
5. Identify opportunities to improvised and implement industry best IT Asset management practice
- Performance curves to track asset condition and useful life
- Inform Wipro /EXL on expiry of Warranty of assets
- Add and view attachments to both asset records and inspection records
- Set up preventative maintenance schedules on assets with the help of Wipro /EXL SPOCs
- Create, assign, and complete work activities with respect to asset management
- Receipt, storage, issuance of Assets/ accessories/ spares from stores. Updating of records against each transaction in Asset register/database. Unpack shipment of assets and visually inspect for any transport damage, if any
- Validation of receipt of new consignment with Delivery challan/Invoice and PO copy
- Asset reconciliation (with procured Vs install/in stock assets) on timely and regular basis. Report the discrepancies, if any, with justification
- Placement of working/ non-working assets/accessories/ spares in stores for easy identification.
- Get the non-working assets/ accessories/ spares, which are under warranty/AMC, to get replaced in time, to ensure that at any time non-functional assets/ Spares/ accessories should be as minimal (target can be decided later). Logging call with OEM is joint efforts by Asset team. from QuessCorp.
- Stores inventory to be published on regular basis. Reporting format can be finalized with Asset team from Wipro
- Deployment /Installation/ Movement of issued assets on requested location (against valid ticket#). In case of movement of Assets intra-centers, required documentation and other logistics arrangement to be done by Asset team
- Obtain confirmation from end user on the movement completed, post which ticket should get updated accordingly
- Removing of released/ un-installed assets from production floor, post confirmation from the desktop support team and respective TSD SPOC. Proper stacking of returned assets in stores. Updating of records in asset database within 240 hours of the transaction completed
- Adhere to Asset disposal/retirement process and ensure all appropriate approvals and document in place.
- Records updating post disposal completed
- Intimation to Central Asset team (EXL) on expiry of any Warranty/ AMC at least before 2 months expiry
- Refresh asset reports and Capacity reports
- Track and get the Asset/spares send out of EXL premises on returnable basis. Keep stakeholder informed on regular basis
- Monthly dashboard for IT Asset management to be shared by Asset management team from QuessCorp.
- Content in dashboard to be included has to be at par of industry standards
- Meet defined Service levels (SLA) for asset management and publish monthly SLA reports
- Transformation participation and adoption by teams for any automations/new tools introduction for asset management
- Track and manage assets as per section per new Future of Work model (Work from Home, Work from
Office and Flexi Working)
- Asset Tagging with the tags provided by EXL
