Aprio Philippines is seeking a highly skilledSenior Audit Associate to join our expanding audit team. As part of Aprio, you will work with clients to maximize their opportunities by providing precise and insightful financial information. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial statements, which are critical for maintaining strong business relationships and making informed decisions.
\n Responsibilities: Conduct thorough and accurate audits for private and closely held companies, ensuring compliance with the highest professional standards. Prepare detailed audit work papers, adjusting trial balances, and compile financial statements into comprehensive reports. Manage time effectively to plan, schedule, and execute client engagements efficiently. Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and coworkers, fostering trust and collaboration. Supervise and mentor junior auditors, acting as a liaison between clients and managers to facilitate smooth communication. Lead efforts to expand services to Chinese-owned corporations in the Philippines and the Asia-Pacific region. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting; US/PH CPA License required. 3-5 years of experience with a public accounting firm, preferably with a strong US professional services firm. In-depth knowledge of auditing and accounting standards, including US GAAP & GAAS. Proficiency in ASC 842 (Leases) and ability to guide clients in its implementation. Fluency in Business Mandarin and English is essential. Expertise in Excel and experience with audit software such as CaseWare. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a team environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
