Aprio Ph - Senior Associate, Sales Tax Compliance

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with 3-5 years of Sales and Use Tax Experience to join our team as a Senior Sales and Use Tax Associate. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a remote team organization and is eager to take on new challenges.
Position Responsibilities: Prepare workpapers and file state and local sales tax returns  Conduct research on various indirect tax matters, including nexus and state filing requirements.  Respond to notices received and participate in sales tax reviews.  Perform other duties as assigned.  Qualifications: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.  A quick learner who can adapt to a fast-paced setting.  General computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).  A data-conscious individual willing to learn how systems/software integrate and produce information to verify data or identify anomalies.  A proven track record of working independently with a strong sense of ownership.  Responsible and reliable, capable of maintaining individual production while fostering a team atmosphere.  Possess deductive reasoning and a growth mindset.  Open to embracing new challenges and devising innovative solutions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
