¦Description of business in JRI Philippine branch
The JRI Philippine branch covers developments, maintenance, and operations of IT systems for SMFG group companies to catch up with robust IT requirements in the group and to enlarge IT development capacity with skillful IT resources from off-shore centers. The Philippine branch is the first captive off-shore IT center of SMFG.
Start with projects for the development/operations of JRI HO and its Singapore branch. This is due to the limited availability of IT resources in Japan and Singapore.
JRI expects the Philippines to provide resources to projects and contribute to implementation mainly in the following areas:
? System development and testing services for banking applications and internal applications to SMFG group companies
? Developments and testing services of cloud services supporting the group's SDG initiatives
? IT platform / Infrastructure support services
? Desktop support services
As a pioneering member of the Philippine branch, the person will be a bridge between Japanese HQ, Singapore, and the Philippines.
There will be a business trip to Japan and the person can build their career and experience very well.

¦Responsibilities
Builds test/production environments on Redhat Linux + Oracle Database environment
Develop scripts to support operations in the production environment and batches
The target application is an in-house application. The application is a banking, treasury dealing support/back-office, mission-critical application.
Business knowledge is not required.
Works closely with the Japan development team
¦Technologies:
a) Cloud services like Amazon web services, Microsoft Azure including Microsoft365 and Power Platform
b) Programming languages: Java, .Net, and other major script languages
c) Databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL, etc.
d) Other market products of banking applications
¦ We require this position to speak, write, and read Japanese as the system can be in Japanese, so it is better if the person can not only speak Japanese but can also write and read Japanese. There will be active communication with the Japanese side and Japanese staff.
?Junior (L2 level)
experience level is L2, not too expertise, but not too basic
Linux OS experience is required
can write commands (shell script)
experience of 3 -4 years would be suitable
ideal image: from BPO but wanna be an expert in IT and get skills in Linux and shell script
Their system is used in Japan and demand comes from Japan side
Their script will be used to help Japanese IT admin/ IT help desk staff
This job involves creating a script to produce an instruction manual for the admin staff to follow when performing operations.
?L2 level (Senior) ?little more experienced than L2 junior
They need 2 people, so one can be junior and one can be a little more professional
The position's main job is to write shell script, and not manage or develop the system itself, the job could be boring or the person could be overqualified for the job, so that is why they want L2 level, who are ambitious to get more skills and want to learn from writing shell script
Experience/Skills
Needs shell script development experience for at least 1 year
Production application support experience is preferred
Nihongo (Japanese) Language Proficiency Requirement: JLPT N3 or above
